Winter Trees & Cardinal

Although simple, this peaceful winter scene is one of my favorites and the results are always breathtaking. Pay special attention to the brushstrokes of the feathers and tree birch, and have fun combining colors for the cardinal. You can switch up the shading to change the time of day and even try with a night sky.
